The tenders so far I have impressed upon that there is a need to understand each space as an individual and each comes with its own issues and constraints.
We in this stage have prioritised need over cost lets understand the art of the possible. We have asked the tender organisations to open their minds and look at the structure of each space are can we better improve the passive naturally aspirated environment. Could we insert more dividing glass walls to act as a buffer from the outside space.? Could we use fans to create a conducive air flow or in fact air barriers to divide the space. Is insulation of the spaces a consideration? Could we work it right back to just opening a window occasionally? Or in fact could we seal the space so that when the visitors are in we do nothing and in the evenings purge the space?
